Fresh Whole Golden Five-Arm Starfish

Whole starfish with five arms, a warm orange-to-yellow colour and a surface covered in small raised bumps. One is opened up to show the dark green-brown mass inside the body; another shot has pieces cooked and plated with a little herb oil.

The arms are the part that gets eaten. Steam or blanch them briefly and the outer skin peels away, or split the arms and grill them. The body itself is not eaten.

Keep frozen at -18°C or below. Cook thoroughly before eating.
